This might be the fold to be. Okay. This might be the fold to beep.

So This is Peak Foldable

Pros

  • Flagship camera system with 200MP main sensor
  • Large 6,000 mAh battery with fast 80W wired and 50W wireless charging
  • High-performance Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip
  • Bright displays with 3600 nits peak brightness
  • Virtually imperceptible "no feel crease" on the main display
  • IP59 water and dust resistance

Cons

  • Implied high price tag
The Oppo Find N6 is heralded as the "peak foldable," successfully overcoming traditional compromises associated with folding phones. It offers a complete, no-compromise experience with flagship displays, including a virtually imperceptible "no feel crease" due to advanced hinge technology, and robust IP59 water and dust resistance. The phone is equipped with a high-end camera system, a large 6,000 mAh battery with fast charging, and a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, making it comparable to a regular flagship phone that conveniently folds. This device represents a significant evolution in foldable technology.
So, now in 2026, this OPPO Find N6 is complete as far as I'm concerned. We've gone through one by one each of the potential compromises of a folding phone and engineered them away. So, aside from the price tag, of course, this is effectively a regular phone that just happens to fold in half. And so, yeah, peak foldable. We've arrived, I guess,
So, now despite being ultra thin and chopped in half, this thing has flagship displays, flagship chips, flagship specs, high-end cameras. It's also IP59 water and dust resistance rated, which used to be nuts for foldables, but now you can just spill water on this thing and it'll be fine.
So, this is effectively a no compromises normal phone, at least dimensions wise, before you even open the thing.

Oppo Find N6 Review: The "Zero Compromise" Foldable?

Pros

  • Large 6,000 mAh battery provides impressive endurance.
  • Features a highly minimal "zero feel crease".
  • Outstanding durability with high dust and water resistance ratings.
  • Still photography significantly outperforms competitors.
  • Flagship-level performance with useful multitasking features.

Cons

  • Main camera struggles with extreme challenging conditions.
  • Video performance exhibits typical Android issues.
  • Telephoto zoom is limited to 3x.
  • Screen is consistently dimmer outdoors.
  • Awkwardly placed snap key replaces camera shortcut.

The Oppo Find N6 stands out as a highly impressive foldable, featuring an almost imperceptible "zero feel crease" and exceptional durability with robust dust and water resistance ratings. It offers a substantial 6,000 mAh battery with rapid 80W charging, ensuring extended usage and quick power-ups, alongside flagship-level performance from its Snapdragon silicon and advanced multitasking features.

While its Hasselblad-branded 200MP camera excels in still photography, it struggles in challenging lighting and its video performance has typical Android issues, plus the screen can be dimmer outdoors compared to rivals. Despite minor software design choices and the absence of G2 Mag Safe, its overall hardware design and productivity platform are commendable.

It's a true shame this technically advanced device is not slated for a wider release, particularly in North America or Europe.

This phone is certified to survive a wider range of abuse. A dust seal rating of five on the International Protection Scale and three separate water ratings of 5, 8, and 9.
This is the most technically impressive foldable of the past 5 years.
The Oppo Find N6 is proof that that competition hasn't slowed down in the meantime. So, it's a true shame that it's not slated for a North American or even a European release.

  • High-quality 200MP Hasselblad-capable camera system.
  • Powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip ensures strong performance.
  • Significantly reduced screen crease compared to other foldables.
  • Fast 80W wired and 50W wireless charging capabilities.

Cons

  • Limited regional availability remains a primary challenge.
  • While greatly minimized, the screen crease can still be felt.

The OPPO Find N6 addresses common foldable phone challenges with its robust design and features. It boasts a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and an excellent 200MP Hasselblad-capable camera system, alongside an exceptional 6,000 mAh battery offering up to two days of use.

The device features impressive OLED displays, both with 120Hz refresh rates, and a significantly reduced screen crease, making it one of the best foldables reviewed. While its regional availability is limited and the crease is still detectable, the reviewer highly recommends the phone for its overall quality and innovative solutions.

the N6 appears to answer all of those questions, doesn't it? It seems to solve all of the common foldable problems. The battery, the camera, the lack of a crease. It's still there, but it's just less. the bulk and the heft.
If this is available in your country and you fancy it, get it. You will love this phone. It's it's one of the best foldables I've ever used.

OPPO Find N6 review: The best phone you can't buy

Pros

  • Offers a best-in-class camera system on a folding phone
  • Features exceptional 6,000 mAh battery life
  • Boasts a virtually invisible screen crease
  • Provides robust multitasking capabilities with multiple floating windows
  • Equipped with the largest 8.12-inch folding display among book-style foldables

Cons

  • Ultrawide and telephoto lenses may be slightly weaker in nighttime detail
  • Experiences minor issues with lens changing during video recording
  • Suffers from limited global availability
The OPPO Find N6 is lauded as potentially the best folding phone available, setting a new standard for the category by feeling like a flagship slab phone without compromise. It features an exceptional camera system, class-leading battery life, and a nearly invisible screen crease, enhancing both productivity and user experience. With robust performance and advanced multitasking, it delivers a superior folding phone experience. However, its limited global availability is a significant disappointment, preventing many from experiencing this impressive device.
I've been using the N6 for a few weeks now and it might be the best folding phone that I've ever used.
But I feel like that this is the first folding phone that you probably don't need to compromise on and it's likely going to be my daily driver for a lot of this year.
I'm really disappointed in Oppo that they're not bringing this to more people because this is the first foldable that feels like a flagship slab style phone that can fold open.
