Welp, I bought an iPhone again | The Vergecast

Pros

  • The larger screen provides a compelling and enjoyable user experience.

Cons

  • The phone is considered too big and clumsy.
  • It is difficult to open with one hand and feels awkward to use.
  • The device has noted durability problems.
  • The camera quality is generally not as good.
The Google Pixel Fold presents a mixed experience, with its larger screen being a pleasant surprise that offers a more compelling and enjoyable usage than expected. Despite this, the device suffers from several notable drawbacks. The reviewer found it to be too big, clumsy, and awkward to open with one hand, also noting durability concerns. Ultimately, these trade-offs, combined with a camera that isn't usually as good, made the phone not quite worth it for the reviewer.
But the trade-off of what it's like to actually use the thing didn't quite feel worth it for me.
you can't functionally open it with one hand and still sort of it's just it's just awkward in a way that I don't think is right and they have durability problems. The camera is not usually as good.

Can we talk about Folding Phones... [1 Take, No Cuts]

Cons

  • Camera quality is substantially worse than other Pixel flagships.
  • High cost relative to its camera performance.
The Google Pixel Fold is appreciated by the reviewer, who considers it a significant upgrade from its predecessor. However, the device's primary drawback is its "rubbish" camera system, which is considerably inferior to other Pixel flagship models. This substantial compromise in camera quality, combined with the phone's high price point, makes it a deal-breaker, preventing the reviewer from using it as a daily driver.
but the issue with this is the cameras are rubbish. I mean, I know Pixels have kind of stagnated in the camera department for a while now, which is actually quite frustrating, but they're significantly worse than what you get on a Google Pixel 9 Pro or Google Pixel 9 Pro XL.
And for me to spend this kind of money on an all singing, all dancing, you know, top-of-the-line flagship Google Pixel Fold, but get a sus a substantially worse camera is a bit of a deal breaker for me
